Hi Tomg1,thank you for your question. No, First Alert SC5 Smart Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarms are not compatible with detectors from other manufacturers, with the exception of Nest Protect. We do not recommend interconnecting smoke or carbon monoxide alarms from different brands, even if they are hardwired. These combinations have not been tested or certified together, so we cannot guarantee proper functionality or performance when used in the same system. - Maria
