Smoke detector is chirping change the battery and won't quit beeping. Is there a reset button


It should be a 20 second hold to give a full discharge.

Reset and test buttons are the same on mine. I disconnect the unit from the wall, remove the battery, then press and hold the button. It will emit a diminishing alarm sound. When the sound stops, it should be ready to go.
