I have three detectors. One started chirpping so I changed all three bateries. It still chirps???? What do I do. I am a single eldery worman - help?

Take the unit off the wall, unplug the electrical connection and then remove the battery. Press and the "test" button until you no longer hear any alarm-type sound. This is generally less then five seconds. Then reverse the procedure: install battery, connect electrical, re-mount in wall or ceiling bracket.
