All batteries in my BRK 4120b detectors replaced, all detectors still going off about every 10 min. they are 17 years old. Is it posssible 1 is bad.


All fire departments as well as the manufacturers recommend replacement at 10 years due to the radioactive element in the detector that makes it work wears out in 10 years. Recommend you replace all of your detectors. Should fix problem and most of all you and your family will be safe
