First Alert BRK Hardwired (with Battery Backup) Ionization Interconnected Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector
Both of these alarms started "chirping" 3 hours ago....why?? No smoke or CO in house...How do I shut them off?

Install new batteries in both units. You may THINK your batteries are "fresh" but who knows how long the store has been sitting on them? Check the batteries with a volt meter. These detectors need at least 8.5 volts.
