I turned on my heat and the alarm started to beep and then stopped. Now there is a red light flashing about 15 seconds apart. What does this mean?


When you turned on the heat, dust or other particulate matter may have been sensed by the detector and it was activated. Not to worry. The red light blinks to indicate the unit is powered....... worry when it stops blinking.
