First Alert BRK Hardwired (with Battery Backup) Ionization Interconnected Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector
If I use the stove-top or oven these alarms go off. Cannot use the fireplace, because they go off. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your question. We apologize for any inconvenience. We recommend not placing smoke alarms near the following areas: In air streams near kitchens. Air currents can draw cooking smoke into the sensing chamber of a Smoke Alarm near the kitchen. The alarm should be located 20ft from combustion sources In very damp, humid, or steamy areas, or directly near bathrooms with showers. Keep units at least 10 feet (3 meters) away from showers, saunas, dishwashers, etc. With that said, please don`t hesitate to reach out to us at First Alert at 1 (800)-323-9005 with any additional questions or concerns. We look forward to hearing from you.
