Do I need this or does the fan come with mounting hardware for a sloped ceiling? Do I need a downrod too or does that come with the fan?

Hello - It depends on the slope of your ceiling and the fan you are installing. Some fans can allow for a small slope. Most fans also come with a downrod, but depending on how tall your ceilings are and the degree of the slope, and additional downrod might be needed. The ideal distance between the floor and your ceiling fan should be 7-9 feet.
