how many panels for a 23 square shingled roof?


Each panel covers 3 square feet per one lineal foot. With that, each 8' piece will cover 24 square feet. A 23 square roof is 2300 square feet. However, depending on the length of the panel needed (the distance from the ridge line to the eave line), buying just 8' panels could generate a lot of scrap. I would recommend contacting the Commercial Desk and ask for a complete take-off and quote. Doing it this way will get the material ordered the exact length.
