Does this product eliminate the need for edging or trimming?


I guess so? It will eliminate the need for edging every 1-2 years, as this stuff is extremely tough and holds its color. I'm not sure what you mean by "trimming", but can say with confidence that I've used the weed trimmer on it to trim the grass my mower didn't catch and it shows no scoring or gouging unlike other products.

If you install the lip towards the yard you will be able to run wheel of your mower on it elimnating the need to use your trimmer.
