Hello, this Eaton Wiring Device switch # AH1221, is a single pole unit. If you are unsure of the wiring Please call a qualified electrician. But, you should have two black wires. One is the incuming the and other outgoing. Connect to the brass terminals and connect a ground to the green terminal. White wires get tied together. Thank you.
