wiring diagram going from this special 3 way switch to a single 3 way switch

There is a wiring diagram included in the package. The three-way remote switch just needs a traveler and a neutral from the original switch. For me, this made wiring very easy. (I use the normal convention of black=hot, white=neutral, red=traveler, bare copper=ground) In my box I have a power feed (black, white, ground) , a 3wire traveler circuit (black, white, red, ground), and a connection to the light (black, white, ground). In the remote box, I just have the 3wire traveler circuit. I removed all the switches and confirmed which wire was the incoming feed with a voltage tester. I have a bundle of neutral wires in the back of my box. I added the white in the 3wire traveler to this bundle as well as a short pigtail to the main switch. Take the short pigtail neutral and connect it to the neutral on the main switch. Connect the black hot feed to the feed screw. Connect the load (black wire going to the light) to the load terminal. Connect the red traveler to the traveler terminal. This basically provides a common neutral to the remote box over the white wire and a traveler connection over the red wire. In the remote box there are only two connections. Cap the black wire (unused) with a wire nut. Connect the white to the neutral terminal and the red to the traveler. Ground is connected to ground in all boxes. Obviously if this is confusing or you don't feel comfortable, don't be stupid and burn your house down. Consult with a qualified electrician.
