Does this timer have a always on function?

Yes. Simply hold the override button on the right side until the LED flashes, then release. At that point the switched item is on until you manually depress the override switch again.
Was this Answer Helpful ?The instructions that came with my timer say that it can be put into continuous on mode by holding the 60 min button for 2 seconds. That function does not work on my timer so I don't know if the instructions are wrong or if I got a defective timer.
Was this Answer Helpful ?YES. You need to keep the power button (button 6) pressed for 2 seconds until it flashes, then the switch is in bypass mode. When in bypass mode, the switch is on (bypassing timer) until you press the power button again. Eaiser - if you set it on 5 min and want to extend to another 10 min, just press the 10 min button. You can also get fancy and PROGRAM the switch so the buttons change from their default 5, 10, 15, 30, and 60 min preprogrammed times to any of these minutes per button: 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 60.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes. The button (w/ green LED) to the right of the 'timer' buttons turns the switch 'on' until you press it again to turn off. You do have to hold that button for about 2 seconds before it turns on.
