Can the temperature be changed?
4
The three devices I have purchased over the years do not allow the activation temperatures to be adjusted. If I recall correctly, the device becomes active around 38 degrees and deactivates around 50 degrees. while this range may appear contrary to your desired use, remember that heating to prevent freezing is a gradual process due to the 1800 watt limitation of the device. Deactivation at 50 degrees may be overkill but as long as it serves my purpose I can live with the design.
