Can I use this in my green house?

I'm sure you could, so long as what you plug into it is electrically identical to a heat tape---in other words a resistive load that doesn't exceed the amp rating of the plug. This thermostat doesn't know whether it's a heat tape or one or two of those red heat lamps that are plugged into it.
