What size is the product and how many gallons will it treat

I looked up the size on another site, it's 32 oz as far as I can tell. For how many gallons it treats? That's one matter of debate. I put a can in when my tank is fairly low because I want it to be fairly undiluted and clear out any sludge in my (no-filter) pump and also in the brass lines. Maybe that also does better to dissolve sludge in the bottom of the tank. Others advise to put a can in right as you are getting your tank filled, to dissolve all the impurities that come with the heating oil these days. Then again I saw an account online where a guy put a can in right before a fillup and he said that doing so clogged his main filter - which he had to then replace. All that would change for an outdoor tank, which maybe needs it also as antifreeze. I don't know the max gallons, though. It's mainly mineral spirits, though some brands use another name for that.. like Stoddard solvent.
