I would be replacing a gas insert with this. Do I have to remove the glass panels in the front to get the heat? Or just keep them open?


Good Day, This is a log set and the heat comes from the bottom. The RLG20 does not come with a front glass panel. If you have a front glass existing in your fireplace you would have to remove the glass to feel the heat. Thank You Glen Dimplex Americas Customer Service
