Thank you for your question regarding the Delta ActivTouch® 9-Setting Hand Shower with Traditional Slide Bar / Grab Bar 51900-SS. The hand shower mount on this slide bar has a lever which can be used to loosen the mount enough to re-position the mount elsewhere on the bar. Best regards, Tanya
