Thank you for your inquiry! You can use this hand shower with any R10000 rough-in valve and 14, 17, or 17T series trim kit. There are a couple options to divert the water between showering components. The first is an in-wall diverter. For this, you will need the R11000 Rough-In Valve and a T11_ Diverter Trim Kit to match your shower valve trim. You will also need a supply elbow for the hand shower hose, such as the 50560-RB.
