This seems to have only male ends on each side of the extension. does it come with a female adapter to allow you to connect water supply from shower

Volfan, Thank you for your question. The shower arm does not include an adapter as it usually connects to an elbow with female threads. However, you may be able to find an adapter at the store. Best regards, Jon
