The Delta Pivotal H2Okinetic 3-Setting Wall Mount Hand Shower 55799-BL model can either be install on the shower arm of an existing shower unit or added to the installation of a shower and diverter unit. The matching diverter for the Pivotal collection style is T11899 or T11999 and both trim kits will use the R11000 Rough-In Valve. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/showering/shower-components We also have an integrated model that combines the diverter and 17 series trim.
