Will the black stainless steel facuet scratch easily? I know the appliances will because it is a colored acrylic coating on top of silver stainless.

I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! Our black stainless finish is applied with a PVD process. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a process used to create a very durable, corrosion, and tarnish-resistant finish. This process is commonly used for bathroom fixtures and entry hardware exposed to frequent moisture and/or salt air. This is the same process used for our stainless and champagne bronze finishes, for example. Other finishes, such as Venetian bronze or matte black, have a clear topcoat, making the finish slightly less durable.
