Is ir recommended to apply a sealant be applied to the DOMINATOR product after it has hardend.

Yes – you can and often should seal after the polymeric sand has set, as long as you follow the timing and product guidelines. Let the sand fully cure for at least 14 days. We recommend using our Dominator sealers. DOMINATOR® SG+ – color-enhancing, satin to high-gloss, film-forming, joint-stabilizing sealer for concrete pavers and decorative concrete. DOMINATOR® LG+ – color-enhancing, semi-gloss to low-gloss, film-forming, joint-stabilizing sealer for concrete pavers and other concrete surfaces. A few key points from the Polymeric Sand TDS that matter when sealing: Joints should be filled to at least 1" deep and kept about 1/8" below the top of the paver, not flush with the surface. Make sure the sand is fully activated and cured (follow the watering and drying instructions on the bag/TDS).After the 14-day cure, clean the surface thoroughly, let it dry, then apply the sealer per the SG+/LG+ instructions (usually 2 thin coats, no flood-coating).
