What powder load to use to drive 2 1/2" pin into solid concrete, a 4 or a 5 ?


I'm going to assume that you're fastening lumber to concrete. The 'yellow' powder loads should be powerful enough drive it down. I drive 1-1/4" for exterior metal track to concrete, and they go drive in all the way. If you're using lumber for example a 2×4 about 1" is actually penetrating the concrete.
