Type of saws all .


To answer your question, this is a type 2 saw . And no, it is not the saw that comes in the max20v 4 and 5 tool kits . Telltell sign , yellow button , releases, and or adjust fence, or blade guard . Type one doesent have this yellow button !

20vmax comes in a type one and type two saws all . 18v I have only seen in the type 2 or two position for blade . 12vmax comes in type one only . DeWALT is puting the type one in tool kits to save money .

I have only seen the 18v in the type 2 version . The type one and type 2 come in max20v series . They are puting the type one saw in 4 and 5 20vmax tool kit , to save money .
