Is paint or stain required after completion of work?

While DAP Plastic Wood Wood Fillers can be used for both interior and exterior applications, is not a waterproof wood repair filler and is not recommend for "stand alone" application. Exterior applications or applications that are subject to moisture exposure must be coated with paint, solid color stain or clear waterproof sealer.
