Can this be put over joint compound or regular heavyweight spackling?


Thank you for posting your inquiry on DAP FAST DRY Premium Spackling. While FAST DRY Premium Spackling would be compatible (chemically/physically) with traditional and lightweight joint compounds (one they are fully dry), they are not fully interchangeable. FAST DRY Premium Spackling is designed, labeled, and recommended for filling holes, cracks, dents, defects and larger repairs in drywall and plaster, however, it is not designed for taping/bedding applications or for skim coating.
