Unless there is a height gap between sheets, no filler should be required as the self-stick vinyl would easily bridge a 1-2mm gap. If you have wider gaps, you could use a product like the DAP Floor Patch or just a polyurethane construction adhesive, squeezed between sheets.

Yes, DAP® Flexible Floor Patch and Leveler (RTU) can be used to fill cracks, fastener or knot holes and level low areas in plywood subfloors prior to installation of vinyl floor tile. Be sure to consult the floor tile manufacturer's installation guidance to verify compatibility.
