Looking for a really smooth surface so I can paint over it. Can this be sanded?

DAP Ready-Mixed Concrete Patch is a sanded formula (textured), this product must be tooled/smoothed/finished while it is still in its wet from, as it is not expected to sand well after it has been allowed to dry.
