My dog eats the grass, licks it and plays in it. Will it be safe for him go continue that 24 hours after treatment?

Dear White Noizzze, dude we get it. I spay this and other insecticides in my yard regularly and my dog eats everything. Just be sure to wait until it's completely before letting the dog back out. And then watch them for another 24-48 hrs to make sure they're not eating the grass too soon. Soak the area for the next few days about a day or two after application, making sure the area dries completely after watering. In a week the grass will not affect them if eaten.

They say yes in public but call them and ask, they’ll say “the treated grass is only safe for consumption 12 weeks after it dries” but dogs eat grass

Thank you for your question. All of our herbicides and insecticides are safe to use in households with children and pets. You do need to keep children and pets off and out of treated area until the product has completely dried. After dry, the area is completely safe for your children and/or pets. Consuming dried grass will not be harmful.
