how long is the battery life?

The flashlight seems to self-degrade its light strength, saving battery life, rather than staying at full strength and draining the batteries to nothing. I tested by running non-stop for a little over 8 hours. After about 2 hours at high power, the light seemed to be at what medium power would have originally been. After about 8 hours of non-stop usage, it was emitting light at what low power would have originally been. I didn’t test to battery depletion, but I would expect that it would continue going for 12 hours or so, as listed on the package for lower power usage.
Was this Answer Helpful ?This light has an adjustable beam, as such per the packaging it states for akaline battery @ 2 hours. If you use NIMH or Litium the battery life greatly increases. ( 6hrs 30 min - 12 hours)
