Can I use this in a hot tub


I buy the 35#container and there are normally tablet pieces from a tablet that broke. I take a few of these tablets and add them to the hot tub return

Hi Vessy, We are the manufacturer of Clorox Pool&Spa products. As an EPA Registered Sanitizer, we can only recommend our 3-inch XtraBLUE Chlorinating Tablets be used strictly in accordance with label directions, i.e. in a swimming pool. We can NOT recommend their use in a hot tub. Also, because one 3-inch XtraBLUE Chlorinating Tablet treats 5,000 gallons of pool water, it would likely overchlorinate your hot tub.
