Is this cap resistant to Acetic Acid 10%


Chemical resistance of ABS, CPVC, and PVC can be found in tables starting on page 61 of the Operating Manual (Plastics Technical and Installation Manual) uploaded in in the Overview section for this product. Chemical resistance is based on laboratory tests conducted by the manufacturers of the materials and is intended to provide a general guideline. CPVC is resistant to Acetic Acid 10% up to 180° F. Must use solvent cement specially formulated for hypochlorite or caustic chemical service (IPS Weld-On 724 or equal).
