These units generally do work well and without problems. Have you tried removing the batteries and resetting (if there is a reset button) the control? If that does not work, you might consider that the device could be faulty for some reason and you might need to return it for another unit.

Hello, and thank you for your question. This keypad model has a feature that allows the door to be operated simply by pressing the Enter button for 15 seconds after a PIN is successfully entered. After the 15 second period expires, you must enter the full PIN to operate the garage door opener.
