All of a sudden garage door opener will not open Door! Put in new Battery still will not accept code 2 open garage door! Any suggestions?


Pull the power plug on the opener head, let it sit for a few minutes and plug it back in. You may have had a voltage spike and the receiver circuit on the circuit board may be goofy. Just like rebooting a computer. If that doesn't fix the problem, and it's more then 8 years old, it's probably not cost effective to repair.
