I have replaced the batteries on my keyless entry pad. The pads are still not working they are roughly 10 years old. Can I replace with this?

You probably can. Before replacing the pad, reprogram your existing pad with FOUR COMPLETELY NEW NUMBERS. One or more currently used numbers/buttons could be the problem. If that doesn't work, pull out the power plug on the door opener for 5 minutes to power off the RF receiver circuit board. It's controlled by chips just like your computer. Powering down "reboots" all the chips in the control circuit board. When programming a new code, I would NOT use a number more than once in your four digit code; like 1828. Repeating digits (the 8) wears out those buttons twice as fast. Reprogram your code (with 4 DIFFERENT NEW NUMBERS). If that doesn't work, replace the keypad. Don't mount it in case you need to return it. You want to keep it like new.
