Here are the steps on setting up a PIN. 1 - Linear manufactured after 1997 2 - Chamberlain, LiftMaster or Craftsman with Red/Orange learn button 3 - Chamberlain, LiftMaster or Craftsman with Purple learn button 4 - Chamberlain, LiftMaster or Craftsman with Green learn button 5 - Genie Intellicode and Overhead Door openers manufactured after 2005 (315MHz) 6 - Genie Intellicode and Overhead Door openers manufactured after 1995 (390MHz) 7 - Stanley openers manufactured after 1998 8 - Chamberlain, LiftMaster or Craftsman with Yellow learn button Security+2.0 9 - Wayne Dalton manufactured after 1999 (372.5MHz) KLIK2U with LEARN button Before you begin programming, fill in step 2 and 3 with your 4 digit PIN # and product ID # as these steps need to be done promptly. If the keypad lights turn off between steps 2 and 3, you will need to start programming over. Press * and # keys together until keypad stops flashing. (Keypad lights turn OFF) NOTE: You have 5 seconds to complete steps 2 and 3. Enter a 4 digit pin _________ , then press #. (Keypad lights remain ON) Enter the product ID ______ , then press #. (Keypad lights turn OFF after pressing #) NOTE: If the keypad lights flash after pressing your ID then #, you must start over at step 1. Press and release the learn button on your garage door opener Enter your 4 digit PIN number and press and HOLD the "0" key until the garage door activates NOTE: If programming to a Genie or an Overhead Garage Door, press and release "0" button twice. When the keypad lights turn off, test by entering your 4 digit PIN number followed by the "0" button
