called "Chamberlain" about comparability with my "Overhead Door" Legacy 850 Model 2029. It will not work. Spent all morning attempting to make it work.

Hello JER! Yes, the Clicker model KLIK2U keyless entry will work with your Overhead Door Legacy model opener, as long as it has a learn/program button instead of dip switches. Most openers made after 1993 will have a learn/program button.
