Can this be hardwired to power so I won't have to worry about replacing battery?

While we currently do not offer a wired myQ Video Keypad, we will be sure to share your feedback with our product team. Of note, expected battery life depends on several factors including household activity, Wi-Fi signal strength, ambient temperature, and selected motion sensitivity settings. An example based on activity can be found below: Quiet Household (fewer than 10 events per day): 3 months of battery life Typical Household (10-30 events per day): 2 months of battery life Busy Household (over 30 events per day): 1 month of battery life We are looking at making improvements to the user experience for additional customization to extend the battery life. We will extend the recommendation to the product team about a hardwiring product.
