where can i examine it before purchase?

Most of the Lowe's stores have one on display so you can check it out.

I was able to go down to my local Lowes and see both of the Liberty branded safes before my purchase. The safe will probably be locked to keep children from locking themselves into it so ask a rep to open it for you.
