Yes it will...I tested it with a 1/3 hp AND 1/2 hp Zoeller pumps. Seemed to run fine--even running together. However other major quality problems...

Was this Answer Helpful ?Look at the current rating on the pump lable. The starting current is probably twice the nameplate rating. This generator is rated at 14.7 amps. at 220VAC.
Was this Answer Helpful ?yes. A sump requires about 800 watts to run and about 1400 to start. The start-up is 8250 and running is 5500.
