It should be able to run in rain and snow; but, I would put a small roof or something over it with a lot of vents.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes it runs in the rain. I live in a amish cabin with no electric and I leave it outside all the time. It pulls a flat screen tv, satalite dish, and fridge. works great.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Generac does not recommend leaving units exposed to weather. The generator should be shielded from inclement weather. Be sure not to create a fire hazard when shielding the generator.
