I have been pulling this trailer with an 08 Ford Fusion for the past 4 years and have had no problems! Just last week I hauled 40 sheets of 1/2"X 8' drywall which is around 1600 pounds and I had no issues. The fact that the trailer weighs next to nothing, allows you to load it pretty good.

Yes, almost any car could tow the trailer as it is pretty lightweight. Any limitations would be due to the weight of the cargo. Your car owner's manual can tell you how much you can tow. Subtract the trailer weight from that figure, i.e., if you can tow 1200 lbs, 1200 - trailer weight = your towing capacity.
