almost anytime a vehicle of any type hits the asphalt registration is needed. you must check your local tag office for this question as laws differ from state to state.

You will not need a temporary registration for Indiana.. Just make sure you have your proof of purchase papers--(Bill Of Sale)--from Indiana, and, then when you get to PA., you can purchase your permanate tag for your utility trailer..

I don't think there is such thing as temporary registration. if you're buying from lowes the don't carry any dmv paperwork i am aware of. you may have to check with local dmv to see if there is a grace period between purchase and registration. you will have to eventually register the trailer in the state your driver license is. adhere to highway regs with the trailer and you won't have any issues. don't over load it, the troopers love that.
