Is this strong enough to drill a 3/8 drill bit 3 inches into pine rafter? Drill bit is on the hex attachment. Wondering about the strength / power.

The CMHT6640BI is a 20V cordless drill that should be capable of drilling a 3/8-inch bit 3 inches into a pine rafter. Pine is a relatively soft wood, so the drill should handle it well, especially if you use a sharp bit and apply steady pressure. However, it’s always a good idea to ensure your drill bit is suitable for the task. For drilling into pine, a standard twist bit should work fine. If you encounter any resistance, you might want to pre-drill a smaller pilot hole to make the process smoother.
