Anyone know how to remove the telescoping piece to store the screwdriver in the case? I pull black release and it extends but won't extract. Thanks!

extract fully, use vice grip to pull out ratchet assembly, remove lock ring at base of telescoping bit holder, reattach ensuring you line up indicator

Fully extend the shaft and lock it in a vise. Then pull on the handle until it separates. Then retract the shaft back and remove “snap ring” at end.
