CRAFTSMAN 49 State 2500 Starting / 2200 Running Watt Gasoline Single Fuel Portable Generator

To add the oil you must first remove the side cover opposite of the pull starter. It's two course thread Phillips head screws. Then there is a finger tightened cap that has the dipstick built in that covers the fill/drain port. Add oil until it won't hold anymore. You can't overfill it.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes, this model uses clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline. Minimum rating of 87 octane/87 AKI (91 RON). Up to 10% ethanol (gasohol) is acceptable (where available; non-ethanol fuel is recommended). Do not use E85, gas oil mix or modify engine to run on alternate fuels. For adding in oil, remove oil fill cap/oil dipstick and wipe oil dipstick clean. Insert funnel into oil fill opening. Add recommended engine oil as necessary.
