can the spool be changed out?or can it be ordered


I have not been able to get replacement parts for this for over a year! This product is not supported by CRAFTSMAN. Good luck getting parts.

Actually it doesn't use a spool. It uses line cut to length. Mine had a measuring mark that made it easy to use rolls and cut the line to length.
