how many section do I need to made a 36" circle?


You will need 3 to get to a 36" diameter circle, even though the pieces are 4' from end to end they do overlap so 3 will technically get you a 38"; that'll be as close as you can get. HOWEVER, please consider using the Tree Ring Sections instead!! (14TRSBK-T) which is Lowe's item # 959657. The Tree Ring Sections are made of the 4' section that we pre-curve. There is no way you'll be able to cleanly curve the 4' sections yourself by hand.
