Our CLR Garbage Disposal Cleaner is formulated to clean the disposal & control the odor, it does not contain the necessary chemicals effective in dissolving rust. It also needs to be used in a working disposal. The only one of our products that contains the necessary chemicals to remove rust is our CLR Calcium, Lime and Rust Remover
